Getting the best reveal
Pick a fine-tip pen
A 0.3–0.5 mm fineliner keeps slashes crisp in small cells. Gel pens work too; let them dry before you turn the page.
Print at 100%
Choose "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page" so the grid prints at the same scale as the book.
Don't peek too soon
Cover the solution page and wait until the shape starts to show. That moment is the fun part.
